An Accidental Extrovert

Wearing my mouth on my sleeve

7 notes &

On a lighter note, yesterday was my first day volunteering as a reading buddy at a DC school. My buddy and I both had to fill out a get-to-know-you questionnaire and I was not at all embarrassed to complete the sentence “I live with…my cat Gibbs.”
I don’t think D is old or football-savvy enough to understand the genesis of my roommate’s name, but she burst into giggles when she read it out loud. Then we spent some time scrolling through my phone and mocking Gibbs’ various states of repose.
Buddy bonding success!
